Augusta University’s ACM Cyber Defense team learns and practices current hacking techniques through challenging exercises. For instance, fuzzing, user group management, penetration testing, are practiced through collective training and real-world exercises. Team members also learn to automate hacking tasks and test various scripts like PowerShell and BASH. All training builds up to compete in regional Cyber defense competitions—National Cyber League (NCL) and National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (CCDC), specifically.

Currently, the team meets every Friday: 1:00-2:00pm at University Hall, room 129.
