FINAL EXAM PROCEDURES

TESTING PROCEDURES:

  • ALL Exams will begin promptly at the scheduled time

  • If you are late, you will NOT be allowed to take the final exam until there is another open seat in a later exam period.

  • EVERYONE MUST BRING a PICTURE ID to the Final Exam.

  • Books and Notes are not allowed

  • Graphing Calculators or Calculators with Memory of any kind are not allowed. You may use a basic calculator.

EXAM DETAILS and STUDY GUIDELINES:

  • COURSE STRUCTURE
    • The course is set up to provide increasing rigor among the assignments beginning with HW, then quizzes, and finally exams being the most rigorous.
    • The course also provides three exams prior to the final exam thereby preparing the student for the increased rigor of the final exam.
    • With the redesign of the course, all covered chapters have not been evaluated on an exam prior to the final exam. Thus, the final will proportionately be centered on the chapters that have not yet been evaluated with a much smaller portion of questions coming from the earlier chapters.
    • ALL extra credit (with the exception of Civic Duty will be applied to the final exam grade)

  • STUDY RECOMMENDATIONS:
    • Quizzes and Exams cannot be reviewed.
    • Take sample tests in Coursecompass and then work 'practice problems' within the study plan drill down for sections on which you need help.
    • Work review quizzes provided on the courses Powerpoint webpage - on the professor website.
    • Review the notes you took on question type and content from quizzes and exams.
    • HW is Not recommended the sole use of review for the final.
    • The final will be similar to the previous Exams (Tests) in design - It will be cumulative (of the chapters covered in the course) and consists of between 40 and 45 questions.
    • You will have 75 minutes for the exam
