MyITLab Common Errors and Pearson Contact Info
Contact Pearson Technical Support in plenty of time to Complete your Assignments On Time

If you are having difficulty with the MyITLab, I recommend the following:

  1. Run the Browser Tune-up: The link is on a Tab in the Online lab

  2. UnBlock Popups for the Pearson website

  3. System Requirements: Be sure you have checked and made all of the suggested downloads, installations, or updates that Pearson recommends for MyITLab. There is a link at MyITLab.com as well as information in the Jagstore packet with the course access code.

  4. Compatible Browsers: Be sure you are using updated versions of Google Chrome or FireFox. Internet Explorer IS NOT recommended for MyITLab.

  5. Internet Connection: Be sure taht you ahve a good internet connection - not wifi or dial up.

  6. Be sure you have submitted your assignment. If you leave it open it will not submit for you and your grade will be zero.

  7. Be sure you have submitted your assignment. If there is a 2nd attempt on an item, the first attempt must be submitted before the lab will allow you to begin the 2nd attempt - even if several days have passed.

 Software Specific Issues:

  1. Be sure you are using MS Office 2013 Professional Pro or 365 (if you are having difficulty with a software module)

  2. The assignments are extremely detail oriented. All of the assignments work. Most likely you are not doing something according to the explicit directions.

  3. Use the Learning Aid Videos, documents and practice options for specific instructions.

  4. Use critical thinking and deduction reasoning to assist in determing what detail you are missing.

  5. Feel free to work in groups. Working in groups increases retention. However, dishonesty and cheating is not acceptable. DO NOT submit someone else's work. If you upload each other's information I WILL know, you will both receive a zero, and if it happens again you will be withdrawn from class with a 'WF' and the University Provost will be notified for inclusion on your permanent collegiate record.

If all of the above fail:

You must contact Pearson technical support via telephone or online chat.

  1. MyITLab Designated Number: 1 - 844 - 292 - 7016

  3. Online Chat: Click the Contact Us link at the following webpage http://247pearsoned.custhelp.com/
