Seth F. Oppenheimer

I am a Professor and Chair of Mathematics and Associate Dean for Community and Alumni Relations
in the College of Science and Mathematics
at Augusta University

Previously I worked at   Mississippi State University for 33 years in  The Department of Mathematics and Statistics in the College of Arts and Sciences and served as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in the Shackouls Honors College,  as well as being affiliated with The Department of Philosophy and Religion.  I also had a courtesy appointment as a member of the Graduate Faculty in Computational Engineering. My research is in Partial Differential Equations and applied mathematical modeling in general.  I have a Bachelor's of Arts  in mathematics from The University of Chicago .   My Ph.D. is from the University of Texas at Austin in mathematics.
